Students first read and cut out the vocabulary booklets containing text and clip art illustrations. Students then sketch and create their own versions of the booklets using the text only template. Spanish Happy Birthday Song - 3 Verses - Feliz Cumpleanos - The verses include: Feliz cumpleanos a ti, Cuantos anos tienes tu, and Como se llama tu novio. Both Spanish and English are provided, and there is also a list of numbers 1 - 20 that students can use to insert in the sentence Tengo ___ años which is also included. The song is also copied 2 per page for use as student handouts.
Students practice descriptive adjectives and the verbs ser and tener playing the fun Guess Who board game in Spanish! This is a concise alphabetized reference of 31 bilingual Spanish/English vocabulary words and phrases needed for the game. Just ask students to bring in their Guess Who games and these handy reference sheets will allow them to play using the traditional games in the English box.

This game can be used when students are learning the vocabulary and it's great for a fun review later in the year. Vocabulary includes greetings, leave takings, courtesies, introduction words such as Te presento a, mucho gusto, encantado, and more.
This activity includes 18 English to Spanish translations of common greetings, leave takings and titles. Sample words and phrases are: Hi/hello, good morning/afternoon/night, see you later, How are you, What's your name, Mr., Mrs., Miss, etc. Students will begin writing basic Spanish words with a focus on accent marks, punctuation and spelling. Accent marks and punctuation are in red font to make them stand out and easy to see when going over the assignment with students. The answer key is included.

Spanish Greetings Word Search Puzzle, Vocabulary, Cards, and Image IDs - These materials contain common greetings and leave takings words and phrases such as hola, buenos días, buenas tardes, buenas noches, cómo estás, as well as courtesies and titles such as gracias, de nada, señor and señora. They're great for beginning Spanish students or for back to school review of the basics. Included in this download: 1. Word search with 30 words and 8 images to identify 2. This is a 13 line, 3 person conversation with greetings, introductions and leave takings that must be put in order for it to make sense.
The ordering activity can can be completed by students in 2 ways:
1. Simply write the numbers on each rectangle
2. Students can first cut the rectangles and manually put them in order, either on a hard surface, or the pieces can be glued to paper.
Other uses for the activity:
1. After completing the ordering task, students can practice and present the conversation as a 3-person dialogue.

Students will quickly learn vocabulary for "hello, how are you, good morning and I'm fine, thanks" when you give them one of these bookmarks. Just copy, cut and distribute. They're great for a back to school gift at the start of the year!

Students fill in 24 blanks with greetings and leave taking words such as: good morning, how are you, what's your name, where are you from, see you later, etc. Students choose words from the word bank. When completed, the activity can be used for oral partner practice and short skit presentations. The answer key is included.
Students identify and correct errors found in 10 sentences containing greetings and basics vocabulary and phrases. They then translate the corrected sentences from Spanish to English. Sample corrected sentences are: ¿De dónde eres tú? and ¿Cuántos años tiene usted? The answer key is included.

Students translate 40 English to Spanish sentences with the following irregular verbs: poner, poder, saber, tener, venir, caber, haber, decir, salir, hacer, valer and querer. The sentences contain several adverbs of time, such as today, soon and tonight, and the vocabulary used is fairly common, with words such as verbs, secrets, box, friends, chicken and shoes. Sample sentences are: My boyfriend will leave tomorrow, and We will have to study more. The answer key is included.
Help your students remember the important future tense irregular verbs and their stems with these colorful classroom signs. Just print in color and hang in a visible location!
